The Main Lodge

All the facilities of the main lodge are at the full disposal of our guests, staying in either the Guest Wing or Remarkables Suite.

To ensure the best, and most relaxing, in Queenstown getaways Amokura only accepts up to two parties, of up to four persons each. All guests are welcome, and encouraged, to utilise all the facilities and features of the Lodge itself; and are invited to breakfast or brunch, and take evening 'drinks', typically featuring local wines and cheeses, with your hosts. Depending on the weather, it is not entirely unusual to settle into one of the decks or lawns and transition smoothly from the first to the second without much of a break in between.

The Remarkables Suite

• Two bedrooms, each configurable as either super-king or twin
• Lounge with fireplace
• Dining area and full kitchen
• Private deck
• Bathroom
• Powder room
• Laundry
• Guest robes provided and toiletries
• Lounge, dining, and both bedrooms facing Lake Wakatipu, with extensive views of Wakatipu and the Remarkables mountain range.

At over 850 ft², the Remarkables suite can be partitioned off as a fully independent, private apartment for a truly secluded stay. Guests in the Remarkables Suite can also be served breakfast in the suite's dining area, rather than in the Lodge's main dining room, should they prefer.
